Description 

The diaper cover in merino wool from Petit Lulu is  essential for adding a waterproof barrier to your molded diapers or flat diapers. The diaper cover is highly breathable and suitable for day or night use. Merino wool is naturally antibacterial and therefore does not retain bacteria. odors, it is ideal even for babies with very sensitive skin. Its excellent moisture regulation prevents diaper rash.

The diaper cover is made of two layers of merino wool with an additional third layer in the wettest area between the legs to increase absorbency. For baby's optimal comfort, the seams are sewn outwards so as not to chafe on the inside, so no marks on the skin. The merino wool waistbands and thighs are soft for baby's legs and belly.

Special wool care

Wool requires very gentle maintenance with lanolisation to obtain its impermeability. It should be washed and lanolined properly before first use - the lanolin is what helps the wool to become waterproof.

Because lanolized wool has an incredible self-cleaning ability, you can simply let the diaper cover air dry between uses and if not soiled, wash all diaper covers. 2-3 weeks. Lanolization is less frequent - approximately every 4-6 weeks.
