Tips

Wash diaper before first use;

Several washes may be necessary before having maximum absorption capacity;

The diaper should be changed every 3 hours ideally to prevent the onset of diaper rash;

Only use products compatible with the use of cloth diapers (for example: zinc creams are not).

We recommend that you follow the specific care instructions for washable diapers.

Care Tips 

Remove excess solid residue into the toilet or trash can first. Using a washable or disposable sheet can make it easier for you at this step.

Then store soiled diapers in a dry place until you wash them. We recommend using a waterproof bag or a diaper basket/bin.

Pre-wash the diapers in the machine, in cold water, in a short cycle, taking care to remove the inserts first. Machine wash a second time in warm or hot water on a long Heavy Duty cycle. Make sure your water is not boiling to avoid damaging the waterproofing of your diapers. Take care to have enough layers to achieve good friction between them, but also avoid overfilling the tub for the same reason.

Hang diapers to dry in the sun or tumble dry low heat. The sun helps remove stubborn stains. washing, but you mustavoid leaving the diapers too long in the sun once dry to avoid prematurely damaging your elastics . If you're using a clothesline, we recommend laying them out horizontally (on the longer side) to avoid stretching your rubber bands in the long run, especially for all-in-one type diapers. In our personal experience, using the dryer on low heat preserves our elastics longer than hanging diapers out in the sun. 

 Clean soiled diapers ideally every 2-3 days.

Do not use bleach or fabric softener in order to avoid damaging them.

All products imported directly by Aux P'tits Cadeau are guaranteed for 6 months from the date of purchase or the birth of the baby . This is limited to defects in manufacturing.
